Spinning – The Spinning® Program is the global leader in indoor cycling training. Insanity – Packed with plyometric drills and relentless intervals of strength, power, and resistance moves, the goal is to work at full capacity using Maximum Cardio Interval Training. Circuit 101 – Find the balance between weight training, cardio intervals and cross-fit techniques to truly sculpt your desired physique.
TRX a.k.a “Suspension Training” – Using bodyweight exercise to develop strength, balance, flexibility and core stability simultaneously; the TRX Suspension Trainer performance training tool leverages gravity and the user’s body weight to complete 100’s of exercises to completely transform your body into a long, lean, strength training machine! ** TRX apparatus and concepts have been used for years by the Navy in SEAL training**
Balanced Body Barre™ – A high energy fusion of Barre exercises, sculpting and Pilates principles. Created by Zayna Gold, the founder of Boston Body Pilates, this class integrates stretching and precise isometric toning.
Filled with plenty of pliés and reléves, our Balanced Body Barre™ class is set to lively music and utilizes a horizontal or ballet barre to combine the best of the Lotte Berk method, ballet technique and Pilates movements.
Not all Barre programs are safe for everyone, but our Balanced Body Barre™ approach emphasizes safety, optimal alignment and body awareness while keeping the fun energy of a Barre workout.
Certified instructors pay close attention to form and detail within each move. This class is a great complement to your arms, waist, hips and Pilates routine.
“Party at the Barre” – Find your inner dancer by incorporating standard ballet practices with Latin Fusion!
Booty Barre Description – Fusion of ballet/dance, Yoga and Pilates that will tone,define and chisel the entire body.
Abs & Guns – Just because beach body season is over does not mean you have to give up your focus on the muscles you can show off. This half hour class is strictly devoted to those who want to pay extra attention to their Bi’s, Tri’s, Fore’s and Core. It might be getting cold out, but this class is still hot. Remember, “Sun’s Out, Guns Out!”
Tabata – A high-energy, advanced workout designed to supercharge your metabolism and blast off body fat. This action-packed workout combines 3-minute intense cardio intervals followed by compound weight training movements to maximize muscle tone and endurance. The class usually concludes with a rock-hard core routine.
Yoga – A classic yoga style that encourages a healthy mind-body connection. A blend of postures, breathing, and meditation are practiced to help mend injuries, pain, and illness. This yoga class has a strong emphasis on alignment of the body and techniques to help you achieve deeper levels of healing and well-being. All levels…. beginners welcome. Participants are encouraged to bring their own yoga mats
Fusion – Playful and stimulating blend of yoga styles and Pilates fused with restorative poses balancing strength, flexibility and focus.
Hatha Yoga – Looking to keep your body strong, flexible, and full of vitality and energy? This blend of postures, breathing, and meditation has a tremendous capacity to help heal and mend injuries as well as correct the root cause of many bodily complaints, pains and/or illnesses. In addition to the physical benefits received from a strong yoga practice, you will also de-stress the mind as well as body. Each and every individual is different and has different needs; this yoga class will instruct postures correctly and safely with a strong emphasis on alignment and technique to help you accomplish deeper levels of healing and health. “Hatha” is most often used to describe gentle, basic classes with no flow between poses. A hatha class will likely be a slow-paced stretching class with some simple breathing exercises and perhaps seated meditation. Silver Sneakers – Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activities for daily living. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a Silver Sneakers ball are offered for resistance. A chair is available if needed for seated or standing support.
