What is TRX?
TRX aka “Suspension Training” was created by a Navy Seal, but you don’t have to be a Navy SEAL to benefit from TRX training. TRX uses only two suspension straps, but there are infinite ways to use them. Using bodyweight exercise to develop strength, balance, flexibility and core stability simultaneously; the TRX Suspension Trainer performance training tool leverages gravity and the user’s body weight to complete 100’s of exercises to completely transform your body into a long, lean, strength training machine! Training with the TRX system is an a great way to increase your level of fitness and burn calories without putting stress on your joints.
Why Should You Do It?
No matter your fitness level, the TRX can work for everyone: athletes, new moms, bodybuilders, men and women, and the young and old. The great thing about suspension training is that everyone can do it. The two suspension straps allow for an infinite number of exercises that help to improve strength, balance, and flexibility. You can work in multiple planes of motion and work several different muscle groups at the same time.
What Should You Expect?
Expect a rewarding workout! Don’t be intimidated – we can easily adapt each exercise to your fitness level. Be prepared to start slow, as you train up to the full position. Breathe through the movement, and as always, listen to your body.
